    Clean Engineer

    Photronics, Inc., is looking for a Clean Engineer to join our world class reticle manufacturing team in Boise, Idaho.

    The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the photomask and/or semiconductor manufacturing process, be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and ideally, have previous wet process cleaning experience or background in wet chemistries.

    Must be able to execute in a complex, high performance photomask manufacturing environment to enhance cycle time, improve yield, and manage costs while striving for continuous improvement.

    The Clean Engineer should be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Knowledge on wet process chemistries and influence to semiconductor materials
    • Knowledge on megasonic cleaning technology
    • Knowledge on wet process mechanisms (surface boundary layers, surface tension, contact angles, fluid mechanics)
    • Familiar with tool mechanical components (solenoids, valves, robotic handling, etc)
    • Ability to interface with and effectively communicate across multiple teams
    • Ability to identify issues and drive to solutions independently
    • Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience: collecting data, interpreting control charts, defining OCAP, and setting control limits
    • Usage of quality-related tools and concepts such as 8D, FMEA, fishbone, 5-why, etc.
    • Ability to produce written procedures and provide effective training across assigned tool set

    • Ability to remain focused in a busy, multi-tasking environment
    • Ability to prioritize workload and provide on-time deliverables
    • Willingness to work off-hours in support of critical manufacturing needs
    • If applicable, be willing to apply for DOD Secret clearance

    EDUCATION:

    • BS,MS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material required. Prefer 5+ years of related experience.
