- Enter student and program data. Proctor student tests and assist them with completing enrollment paperwork
- Supervise students during the completion of forms. Entering data, completing forms, and preparing reports with a high level of accuracy and detail
- Maintain documentation and all pertinent information regarding each student
- Conduct an initial assessment of all students to determine individual needs. Prepares for and administers online assessment testing.
- Answer program phone, greet customers and answer program questions from public whether by phone, email, or in-person
- Respond to official communications from AEL staff members within 48 hours during the scheduled program year. Notifies the supervisor regarding circumstances in which this is not possible.
- Perform periodic assessments of each student's progress and record the results appropriately. Contact absent students.
- Prepare monthly reports of compiled program. Create specific reporting at the request of the dean

Job DescriptionSt. Charles Community College (SCC) is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. At SCC, we have a passion for student success. The Corporate & Community Development Department at SCC is seeking a Part-time, project-based AEL Registrar/Proctor. Will be responsible for enrolling new students using appropriate enrollment procedures and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Some college education is required. Detail oriented and the ability to multitask while recording detailed information. Training on procedures and policies will be provided.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience working with adults in an adult education program.
Salary: Starting salary at $17.00 per hour. Position is project-based and grant funded. Experience will be considered.
Hours: Hours are are flexible, but the position will require some morning, afternoon, and possibly evening availability. 18 hour weekly work schedule but may be extended in the future.
