    Additional Information About the Role

    We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our highly respected medical staff and assist a diverse range of patients in both acute and rehab settings. If you're a licensed Physical Therapist, we'd be thrilled to connect with you.

    The Speech Pathology Department at Christian Hospital, situated on the second floor of CH, delivers services to adults facing challenges in speech, language, voice, dysphagia, and cognition.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

    This role involves providing expert physical therapy services to patients, encompassing comprehensive evaluation and treatment.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing treatment plans and delivering treatments, taking into account patient discharge requirements, expected functional status post-discharge, and the need for appropriate equipment and supplies.
    • Offering education, collaborating with, and consulting patients, families, and other healthcare professionals; providing referrals to specialists when necessary.
    • Assigning tasks to assistants, technicians, and students using clear written and verbal communication, while assessing their skill levels to ensure optimal patient care.
    • Ensuring all documentation aligns with departmental guidelines.
    • Conducting assessments, reassessments, and consultations for Physical Therapy Services.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree

    Supervisor Experience

    Licenses & Certifications

    • Active Physical Therapist License
