- Conduct research on the most appropriate shipping route based on the nature of the items and customer requirements and prepare shipping and logistics documentation.
- Communicate with customers with shipping updates by utilizing assigned systems to keep track of shipping status.
- Create quotes and send invoices to customers.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that logistics of items are processed smoothly and in accordance with customer specifications and make payment arrangements for freight fees and charges.
- Provide accurate shipping information to customs brokers about the shipment.
- Bilingual Japanese and English
- Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, outlook) and adaptability to learn the new systems required in Logistics industry.
- Freight Forwarding/ 3PL/ Logistics industry experience; or Travel industry experience required.

SUMMARY
A global logistics company is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Freight Forwarding Clerk to coordinate import and export logistics for customers' delivery requirements.
Previous experience in the industry is not required; therefore, it would be a good starting position for candidates who would like to start their career in the logistics industry and gain the knowledge, skills and abilities.
