Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all Transportation related administrative activities including general freight inquiries, carrier track and trace, pre-ship order Expedites, White Glove deliveries and other routing change requests, post-ship order routing change requests, in-transit distressed shipment resolution, freight bill reconciliation, warranty resolution, freight claims processing, reporting etc.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Track trafficrelated activities in support of customers, sales, and customer experience to ensure that daily transportation requirements are being met.
Respond to all preship and postship order routing change requests and coordinate the required changes with the appropriate carriers.
Resolve all issues relating to intransit distressed shipments.
Arrange for carrier pickups as needed to support Expedites and White Glove deliveries.
Provide freight quotes for all expedited service requests.
Log all critical transactions.
Process all freight claims.
Import/Input paper carrier invoice information in company's Transportation Management System for audit and payment purposes.
Maintain KPI daily metrics / records for the Transportation Department.
Issue daily reports as required.
Contributor to departmental continuous improvement projects.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:

Required Qualifications:_
Minimum of 23 years of experience in domestic and/or Global Logistics/Transportation/Shipping.
Must have the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and be comfortable with change.
Must have excellent organizational, time planning, and communication skills.
Ability to operate with mínimal supervision.
Strong computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:_
Logistics/Transportation/Shipping experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment
College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
Experience with Windows AX, Sales Force and TMS (Mercury Gate)

Bilingual

English/Spanish
Working conditions:_
Evening and weekend work if required (not common)
Requires some work in Shipping operation in nontemperaturecontrolled facility
May have extended periods of standing / walking
