Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails from policyholders, agents, and internal customers.
Research and respond to customer inquiries with initiative and judgment.
Proactively offer solutions and options to meet customer needs.
Process electronic premium payments and handle various billing-related transactions.
Acquire, maintain, and apply a basic understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance.
Utilize multiple supporting systems to service incoming requests from start to finish.
Conduct policy-related transactions and promote electronic options to customers in a soft-selling manner.
Receive training as needed and maintain strong relationships with agents and policyholders.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both orally and in writing.
Prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and work independently.
Assist with testing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within customer service, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and service standards.
Proven track record in adeptly handling customer interactions, resolving conflicts, and solving problems, always prioritizing enhancing customer satisfaction.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse environments.
Effectively communicate clearly and professionally, maintaining proper grammar standards in verbal and written interactions.
Proficiently manage multiple tasks, utilizing strong prioritization abilities to meet stringent deadlines while working autonomously.
Demonstrate proactive initiative and sound judgment in researching and resolving customer queries, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
Possess strong analytical, comprehension, and mathematical capabilities, enabling efficient problem-solving and decision-making.
Display adaptability to changing circumstances and environments, readily adjusting to new challenges and requirements.
Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred- not required)
