    Description

    Be part of an EXPANDING SALES TEAM while working remotely to support our Northwest Territory on our External Sales team

    About the Role:

    The External Sales/Wholesaler, along with their internal team member, will support and grow Potomac's tactical investment models and funds business to financial intermediaries at IBD and small RIA firms on TAMPs throughout our industry like Envestnet, OPS, Altruist, etc.

    *Northwest Territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE)

    Qualifications:

    • Must live in the Northwest territory. Preferably in San Francisco bay Area/Northern CA, OR, or WA.
    • Must have Series 65/66 or CFP.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years in mutual fund/separate account wholesaling or supporting a mutual fund/separate account wholesaler.
    • Must have in-depth working knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts.
    • Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations.
    • Self-driven: able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously.
    • Separate managed accounts experience.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • *Established relationships in the TAMP channel and region.

    Responsibilities:

    • Represent all products distributed and marketed by Potomac within the territory.
    • Drive sales by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing advisors. Influence advisor choices within a consultative sales process.
    • Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan, manage the territory, and drive regional sales goals and objectives.
    • Identify advisor needs and provide investment and business solutions.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders).
    • Manage administrative responsibilities according to company policies including, travel and expenses, CRM updates, calendar and schedules, conference call participation, email retention, continuing education, and other requirements.
