    Legends at The Rock at La Cantera is seeking to fill an immediate payroll and staffing support position.

    The Role

    The Payroll Clerk will assist with day-to-day payroll operations and the accurate and timely processing for our weekly payroll.These functions will include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining payroll systems (Toast/7 Shifts), practices and procedures, overseeing the preparation and evaluation of weekly and monthly labor reports.Additionally, assist Human Resources with the review and processing of new hire applications.

    The Rock at La Cantera is a multi-phase legacy project that will extend across 45 acres and features the new state of the art Spurs training facility, Frost Plaza, an outdoor event space, and Roca & Martillo Restaurant.

    Responsibilities

    • Collects and validates time-keeping records for non-exempt employees.
    • Prepares venue payroll in a timely and accurate manner, recording and processing of hours of work and maintaining payroll controls.
    • Supports Human Resources department with review and processing of new hire applications.
    • Completes data processing in HRIS and time keeping systems.
    • Responsible for accuracy of payroll for several departments.
    • Ensures all payroll forms are distributed, received, recorded, and filed as appropriate.
    • Completes personnel action forms for payroll data changes, to include new hires and terminations.
    Qualifications
    • Must have a solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures; knowledge of UltiPro, Sterling, 7 Shifts and Club Essentials is a plus.
    • Background in Human Resources support required.
    • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Impeccable attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and meet short deadlines.
    Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
