- Provide hands-on oversight and management for the technical and functional activities of the program.
- Providing support for operations and IT resource management requirements.
- Work closely with the customer and cross- functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Coordinate task order and operational activities.
- Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in deliverables.
- Regularly communicates with customers to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
- Ensures that customers are regularly informed of the status of the program.
- Regularly communicates with management regarding the program's status and any problems or potential problems.
- Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred. Must possess at least 24 semester hours in mathematical, engineering, or quantitative analysis courses.
- An Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required. Must be eligible for and able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance for the duration of the contract.
- Minimum of 10 years of program management experience in a technical environment .
- 5+ years of management experience in IT operations .
- Experience managing technical groups of 20 or more with subordinate managers.
- Federal contract management experience is required.
- Proficient in developing reports and presentations in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to plan and track projects and budgets in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
- Requires expert skills and abilities necessary to work in a team environment and communication skills to support program operations, resulting in high-quality work along with expert-level knowledge of business and industry practices .
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with demonstrated ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level 3 Certification in Program Management
