Security Architect with Security Clearance - Arlington, VA, United States - TMC Technologies

TMC Technologies is in search of a Security Architect to support a federal client in Rosslyn, VA
The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements
This position is considered to have a hybrid work schedule and will require on site work at least two days per week

The Security Architect will:

• Define and design/enhance security architecture and security systems
• Collaborate with Application, Data & Infrastructure teams to architect, design and implement security solutions
• Define and document security standards and direct implementation of standards and guidelines
• Perform security audits and security reviews in compliance with Federal Government regulations and implement remediation
• Create and manage the Security Risk plan

Job Requirements - Bachelor's in Science degree and 14 years of relevant security experience; 12 years with Masters; 9 years with PhD
An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree

• Possess or be able to obtain before start date at least ONE of the following certifications: IAT Level II IAT Level III
• Active Secret security clearance required to start with the ability to obtain/maintain a final Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Conducting Industry reviews
• Experience writing white papers
