Job Duties

  • Perform daytoday laundry functions in accordance with daily priority, as assigned by supervisor.
  • Collect, sort, and weigh soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and place in appropriate containers or assigned areas, including separating those items that require special stain removal/treatment.
  • Press/iron residents' garments and identify and label with indelible ink, instructed.
  • Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute daily to residents, clean laundry, linen, garments, etc., according to the laundry procedures.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of linens is maintained in the linen closets to meet the daily requirements.
  • Follow safety and sanitary conditions in laundry room, according to established policies and state rules and regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and still meet deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize safe practices when performing all tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.

Employment Requirements

  • Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
  • Current 2step TB test (available onsite)
  • 21 years of age

Shift Available
This is a Non - Exempt FLSA status position.

5 days a week working 2PM - 10:30PM
