- Patrol all campus buildings and grounds continuously throughout shift, by foot and golf cart.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
- Alert emergency services and/or management as needed.
- Respond to calls from employees and visitors for assistance.
- Check internal and external doors remain locked throughout shift.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events.
- Perform basic maintenance, (i.e. plunge clogged toilet, etc.) as needed.
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work harmoniously and interact appropriately with others.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance duties when needed.
- AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Current 2-step TB test (available on-site)
