    Description

    Immanuel Campus of Care is seeking to hire a dynamic Cook to join our Culinary Services Team for our Assisted Living Facility.

    The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience as a Cook in a healthcare facility.

    *All positions start well above minimum wage.

    • Annual merit increases up to 5% (based on work performance).
    • Early access to earned wages between paydays when you have direct deposit.
    • Bi-weekly pay dates.

    • Regularly scheduled food trucks with free meals.

    * _Provide proper food transportation, plate-up and portion control.

    • Ensure that residents and employees receive high quality food in a timely manner.
    • Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
    • Update documentation of temperature and equipment logs
    • Stock supplies, as needed.
    • Adhere to residents' special diet restrictions.
    • Meet regularly with the Culinary Services Director regarding menus, service, procedures, etc.
    *Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to work on your feet and lift routine kitchen/food boxes, tools, and equipment.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
    *Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)

    • Food Handlers Card.


    • Shift Available

    • This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt FLSA status position.
    Shift preference will be discussed during interview.
    $50 per hour, depending on experience
