    At KCS the Director of Product Management for Automotive is pivotal in driving the strategic growth and product innovation within the automotive sector. With a focus on understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of the US & UK markets, the Director will lead the development of global solutions that address the evolving needs of the automotive sector. Through close collaboration with engineering, shared services, sales, and marketing teams, this role will ensure our products not only meet but exceed market expectations, reinforcing Kerridge Commercial Systems' position as a leader in automotive industry solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Product Strategy and Execution: Lead the strategic direction for the automotive product line in the US, including product planning, development, and lifecycle management. Ensure products align with the needs of the US automotive sector and Kerridge Commercial Systems' objectives.


    • Customer and Market Insights: Gather and analyse market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to guide product development. Identify opportunities for differentiation and market leadership.


    • Innovation and Development Oversight: Drive the innovation agenda, working closely with R&D and engineering teams to translate market needs into product features and improvements.


    • Oversee the product development process to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.


    • Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and promotional materials. Provide expert knowledge and support for customer engagements and sales enablement.


    • Performance Measurement: Define and track product performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on market feedback and performance data to optimize product success.

    Key Requirements:


    • Global Product Management: Experience in managing global products, with the ability to navigate diverse market requirements and cultural differences.


    • Automotive Services Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive services industry, particularly in digital solutions and online platforms.


    • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Ability to develop strategic product plans that align with global market trends and company objectives.


    • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers, with a track record of enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement.


    • Collaboration and Influence: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different regions.


    • Analytical Skills and Market Insight: Proficient in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and leveraging customer insights to guide product decisions.


    • Adaptability and Innovation: Capable of adapting to rapidly changing markets and driving innovation within product offerings.
