    **Box Office Team Leader**

    **Lifeline Theatre** is seeking to fill the position of a part-time **Box Office Team Leader.** This position is temporary and will align with our Middle Passage production schedule, which runs from April 15th through June 5th, with an average of 20-24 hours per week working Thursday through Sunday. This role is compensated at $16.00 per hour.

    Lifeline Theatre is a 39-year old company located in Rogers Park. Our vision is a world guided by compassion, empathy, and a willingness to change. Our mission is to interpret, explore, and reimagine books and literary works to create stories that move us beyond the margins of our own lives.

    The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a positive audience experience. The Box Office Team Leader will both execute Box Office duties and provide support to the Front of House staff, ensuring an excellent guest experience. As team leader, this position will be a consistent presence for the rotating Front of House staff and serves as a resource to provide on-site support and guidance.

    The Box Office Team Leader believes in enabling others to be their whole and best selves and fosters an open and welcoming atmosphere for staff and guests alike.

    This position reports to the Operations Manager.

    **Duties will include, but are not limited to:**

    Being a friendly and efficient first point of contact for patrons offering information about performances, workshops, and other events at Lifeline Theatre.

    Using Total Info, our ticketing software and CRM system, to conduct transactions via phone, email or in person, including:

    Ticket, subscription, concessions, and other sales

    Donations

    Ticket exchanges

    Serving as the on-site point of contact for resolving issues such as ticketing problems, late seating, and crowd management.

    Maintaining accurate daily sales reports

    Performing and assisting in other duties and special projects as assigned

    **Availability:**

    Must be able to, with minimal conflicts, accommodate a set schedule for April 15 June 5:

    Thursdays and Fridays 6pm 10:30pm

    Saturdays 2:30pm 11pm

    Sundays 2:30pm 7pm

    Requirements:

    Valid drivers license

    Vaccination and booster for COVID-19.

    2 years of experience in customer service or similar field; some leadership experience preferred.

    Ability to prioritize tasks in an environment with many simultaneous demands.

    Strong conflict resolution skills; some experience with or knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred.

    Comfortable and confident in speaking with folks from all walks of life.

    Ability to write both formal reports and friendly patron emails.

    Willingness to take ownership of a situation and see things through to a satisfactory conclusion.

    Strong sense of perspective to balance attention to detail with bigger picture.

    Experience with Total Info or a similar ticketing POS preferred.
