We offer a premium selection of new Freightliner and Western Star commercial vehicles, a large selection of previously owned commercial trucks and a full suite of maintenance and repair services with many of its locations open 24 hours every day, seven days per week. We currently have an opening in our Knoxville location for a parts sales manager position.

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

    Responsible for the overall management of Outside Parts Sales and Inside Parts Sales staff

    Responsible for managing, monitoring and training all outside sales staff to be a profitable, productive and effective sales force in the market area of responsibility

    Work to motivate all parts personnel inclusive of Parts Operations Manager to provide high levels of customer service

    Responsible for facilitating positive and productive interaction between the sales staff and the remainder of the parts department personnel

    Responsible for the preparation of sales strategies, assignment of territories and the development of marketing plans for the parts department

    Responsible for active involvement with day to day sales efforts and sales staff

    Work cohesively with the Parts Operations Manager to ensure profit and efficiency of the department

    Responsible for overall customer service relative to both internal and external customers

    Responsible for fostering cohesion between the parts department and other dealership departments

    Perform all other duties as assigned

    **QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS**

    **Education**

    A high school diploma and/or GED required. Combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Training in a Dealership environment preferred.

    **Experience**

    Minimum of five years experience in a Dealership and three years in management preferred.

    **Licenses or Certificates**

    A valid drivers license is required. Certification of ability to operate a forklift is required.
