    JOB SUMMARY
    The District Sales Manager (DSM) role entails managing sales performance among Sales Consultants (SCs), fostering a performance culture, coaching SC talent, and driving profitable growth
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manage and develop Sales Consultants (MAs) performance in the district
    • Conduct 3-5 SC work-withs weekly for coaching and guidance
    • Lead Friday district meetings to drive sales through key behavior changes
    • Direct Customer Engagement for expanded service options
    • Utilize Sales Support resources efficiently
    • Implement Sysco brand strategies and manage conversion opportunities
    • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to enhance sales consultant skills
    • Utilize CRM for sales planning and daily customer engagement
    • Execute territory planning and management tasks
    • Build relationships with top customers and prospects
    • Implement company initiatives and strategies within the district
    • Handle additional sales management duties and customer relationship management
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education
    • High School education required
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
    Experience
    • 2+ years' successful sales growth experience in the foodservice industry
    • Preferred 5+ years' foodservice sales experience
    Professional Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities
    • Proficiency in consultative selling and CRM tools
    • Effective coaching, training, and supervisory skills
    • Able to analyze market trends and customer needs
    • Skilled in developing new business and maintaining existing accounts
    • Ability to communicate product information and provide training
    • Capable of managing deliveries and troubleshooting order issues
    • Participate in company events, promotions, and sales meetings
    • Review and analyze sales reports
    • Perform administrative duties and assist with training
