    Description
    Accounting Manager
    Remote

    Work with clients (manufacturing, medical technology, agricultural research, software development, retail products, publishing, non-profit, etc.) to provide them with their individualized accounting/finance needs. Client services range from performing monthly general accounting (A/P, A/R, payroll), financial statement preparations and analysis, cost accounting, inventory management, project based financial planning & analysis (budgeting, rolling forecasts), to CFO advisory services.

    The new team member must have an entrepreneurial spirit, be customer service driven, organized, detailed have prior accounting management experience with a strong emphasis in financial reporting and be proficient with Excel and QuickBooks Online.

    Based on the variety of clients and their individual needs, this position will perform a range of client activities including, but not limited to:
    • Manage all aspects of multiple client's operational and financial needs.
    • Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries (pre-paid, accrual, depreciation, amortization, etc.).
    • Prepare account reconciliations, including credit card, bank statements, balance sheet, and income statement.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages, with heavy emphasis on balance sheet reconciliations and income statement review.
    • Manage bill payments and cash flow.
    • Prepare annual budgets and manage rolling forecasts.
    • File and maintain state business registrations and annual filings.
    • Manage client relations with vendors, CPAs, customers, and other partnerships as needed.
    • Manage staff accountants in duties including A/P, A/R, payroll preparation and entries, and other day to day activity.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60, $80,000.00 per year
