Accounting Manager for growing Company in Little Rock
The Accounting Manager will oversee a range of accounting activities, including financial and cost accounting, purchasing, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines effectively is crucial.

Manages Finance's work through coordination of efforts and expectations based on company goals.
Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, payables, payroll, and budget preparation.
Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Oversees the timely production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Leads the monthly close cycle which includes oversight of journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis.
Communicates appropriate and accurate financial results and analysis to leadership team.
Acts a business partner with department leaders on their financial results and planning needs.
Other special projects as required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
Experience:
10 years in a finance or accounting role in a management position
