Some of the largest national chains in the country are our customers, Chipotle, Outback, Lululemon, Warby Parker, Panera, Wawa, Forever 21, H&M, Gap, Old Navy, Athleta, etc.
as well as architects, general contractors and subcontractors located nationally throughout the US.We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our small team as the Accounting Manager.
You will work hands on in all aspects of accounting of a manufacturing company, including AP/AR, general ledger, and journal entries all the while helping to identify cost control measures to enhance profitability.
Applicants must be willing to work hands on with all accounting functions.Hands on in all day to day financial operations including: general accounting, AP/AR, cash recording, reconciliations, sales tax, reporting, job costing, etc.
Prepare the company financial statements and other business reportsBank Reconciliations, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Financial Analysis
Prepare and enter month end entries
Assist in financial administration, planning and budgeting.
Develop and communicate key business performance metrics to management.
Various ongoing and special ad-hoc operational and accounting/finance projects
Extensive job costing of manufactured products and construction install projects
Extensive amount of professional accounting/finance experience.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work hands on daily in all aspects of accounting.
Comfortable in a small team environment.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare meaningful financial reports and statements.
Advanced proficiency in Excel is an absolute must, as well strong overall computer skills.
Prior experience in Manufacturing and/or Construction strongly preferred, but not required.
Experience with AIA Billing a plus.
