    Overview

    Job Purpose

    The Benefits Analyst will assist in managing the benefit function of the HRIS as well as the day-to-day administration of the North American benefit plans.

    Responsibilities
    Subject matter expert for HRIS system.

    Responsible for responding to employee inquiries/assistance with system processes.

    Organize and maintain systems reporting for benefits team and testing UI updates/changes.
    Work closely with HRIS Benefits Analyst to manage and maintain all benefit configuration, reporting, workflow, and vendor file feeds in Oracle;

    Work with cross functional teams including HRIS, Payroll and Accounting in the development of reconciliation and data integrity solutions in HRIS and vendor systems.

    Responsible for performing quarterly audits of system employee enrollment against vendor enrollment.

    This includes weekly audit of all benefit integrations.

    Benefit Analyst will randomly select changes that should have occurred during the week (new hires, life events, etc.) and will verify said changes are updated on the vendor side.

    This also includes responding to weekly discrepancy reports from vendors.
    First point of contact for day-to-day employee issues/questions with processes in Oracle as well as general benefit inquiries.

    Escalated issues or questions should be directed to the Benefit's Manager.
    Develop and maintain audit procedures while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement efficiencies internally and with benefit vendors.

    Work with internal and external audit groups to ensure programs and processes have necessary data controls.

    Assist in retirement and benefit plan compliance activities including annual retirement plan audits, IRS audits, non-discrimination testing, Form 5500 filings, and related communications.

    Participate in 401(k) Plan data compliance reviews and corrections associated with IRS Voluntary Correction Program of acquired company merging plans.

    Manage all aspects of ACA-related reporting to include Forms 1094 and 1095 in Workday for active employees and outside vendor for retirees and Cobra enrollees; PCORI and Transitional Reinsurance fees and reporting.

    Coordinate with outsourced pension and retiree health administrators regarding frozen defined benefit plan and retiree health and life.

    Manage the preparation and distribution of benefit plan information, enrollment materials and communications, and content of Benefits section of Company intranet.

    Also responding to benefits related compliance request (Medicare, employment verifications, child medical support orders, surveys, etc.)
    Knowledge and Experience
    Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize requests, with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    Working knowledge of State and Federal laws impacting benefit-related regulatory requirements, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, DOL, IRS and other applicable regulations.

    Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    Possess

    mathematical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
    Exposure to HRIS, preferably Oracle Cloud.
    Bachelor degree in HR, Business or related field.
    3-5 years of relevant benefits administration experience.
    Schedule
    This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
