- Promptly assists Account Manager and Account Executive in servicing and retaining accounts.
- Works to ensure that client retention goals are met by assisting Account Manager in providing a superior level of customer service.
- Assists employees in understanding the organizations benefits offerings and acts as a liaison between the organization and third-party benefits providers.
- Advises on eligibility, costs, and coverage, and provides information for use in memos, presentations, or other benefits communications.
- Prepare accounting reconciliation; audit payroll/sales comparisons and quick coverage summaries as requested by insured.
- Provides data for claims or enrollment processes.
- Maintains records related to benefits plan participation or contributions.
- 2 - 4 years of experience working in an employee benefits agency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- Ability to create PPT presentations as benefit guides and other communications.
- Maintain client reporting and answer employee and HR questions relative to benefits.
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal as well as ability to take direction and multi task working with multiple team members
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior insurance industry experience a plus
