    Deeply Rooted to Serve

    Led by the values and mission of the organization, the Benefits Analyst supports our Account Managers with administrative tasks and provides detailed data in the servicing of employee benefits insurance accounts.


    WORK PERFORMED:

    • Promptly assists Account Manager and Account Executive in servicing and retaining accounts.
    • Works to ensure that client retention goals are met by assisting Account Manager in providing a superior level of customer service.
    • Assists employees in understanding the organizations benefits offerings and acts as a liaison between the organization and third-party benefits providers.
    • Advises on eligibility, costs, and coverage, and provides information for use in memos, presentations, or other benefits communications.
    • Prepare accounting reconciliation; audit payroll/sales comparisons and quick coverage summaries as requested by insured.
    • Provides data for claims or enrollment processes.
    • Maintains records related to benefits plan participation or contributions.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2 - 4 years of experience working in an employee benefits agency.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
    • Ability to create PPT presentations as benefit guides and other communications.
    • Maintain client reporting and answer employee and HR questions relative to benefits.
    • Clear communication skills both written and verbal as well as ability to take direction and multi task working with multiple team members
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to adhere to deadlines with a sense of urgency.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Prior insurance industry experience a plus
