    Description


    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Program Manager to join our team and lead the development and implementation of a transformative program for young women prisoners.

    This role requires a commitment to creating a positive impact and fostering change in the lives of incarcerated youth.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the program and must be willing to contribute 10 hours of volunteer work per week.


    Responsibilities:

    Program Development :
    oDesign and develop a comprehensive program tailored to the needs of young girl prisoners.
    oCollaborate with experts, stakeholders, and volunteers to create engaging and impactful content.

    Implementation:
    oOversee the successful execution of the program.
    oCoordinate logistics, resources, and scheduling of program activities.

    Participant Engagement:
    oEstablish and maintain positive relationships with program participants.
    oMonitor and assess the progress of participants, providing support and guidance as needed.

    Volunteer Management:
    oRecruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist in program activities.
    oFoster a positive and collaborative volunteer community.

    Documentation and Reporting:
    oMaintain accurate records of program activities, participant progress, and volunteer contributions.
    oGenerate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

    Community Outreach:
    oCollaborate with community organizations, agencies, and educational institutions to enhance program effectiveness.
    oPromote awareness of the program and its impact.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field (not necessary but helpful to have).
    • Proven experience in program development and implementation, preferably youth services.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse populations.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of the criminal justice system and experience working with incarcerated individuals.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

    Commitment to Volunteer Work:

    The successful candidate must be willing to contribute a minimum of 10 hours per week to volunteer work within the organization.
