- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with clients to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Implements new hire and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9's). Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures, as necessary.Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary
- Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert
- Assist with Visa sponsorships
- Other duties as required by the President.
- BA/BS Degree in HR or Business Administration.
- 2+ years experience in Human Resources
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred.
- Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Strong presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization including senior leaders
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate, prioritize and provide excellent service in a fast paced environment
- Experience with visa processing and payroll is a huge plus
