We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent
Employee (m/f/d) for the Office of the County Commissioner to start as soon as possible in Tryon, NC.


Your responsibilities:


  • General typing and support tasks for the department head
  • Independent monitoring, preparation and organization of congratulatory and wellwishing letters
  • Processing of orders and proposals for honors and awards
  • Electronic file management, including scanning and filing
  • Management of department expenses
  • Recording of invoices in the electronic invoice register
  • Monitoring of reminders and deadlines
  • Support in the area of complaint management (e.g. research tasks, correspondence)
  • Participation in the planning and execution of events
  • Preparation, documentation and followup of meetings with internal and external participants

We expect:


  • Completion of training as a civil service clerk in general internal administration
or successful completion of the civil service examination I
or completion of training as a public administrator (specialized career path in administration and finance, non-technical administrative service)
or successful completion of commercial training

  • Commitment and sense of responsibility
  • Proficient in standard computer software
  • Reliability and absolute discretion
  • Independent work style and organizational skills

  • Permanent employment according to the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD) with placement in pay group 6 TVöD (approx. €2,683.45 gross in the first experience level and fulltime; placement in experience
