    Description

    Job Summary:
    Coordinates activities related to quality, accreditation, regulatory and licensing for the medical center. Offers support in clinical, educational, consulting, and coordinating roles. Utilizes nursing licensure for providing indirect patient care services, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Consults on quality, risk management, patient safety, and infection prevention activities.
    • Assists in quality management studies, data analysis, and report development.
    • Organizes and coordinates project planning, training, and technology application.
    • Reports incidents with potential liability and ensures appropriate follow-up.
    • Promotes collaboration for implementing clinical guidelines and tools.
    • Educates staff on regulatory requirements and project goals.
    • Analyzes and recommends risk management principles.
    • Supports staff in integrating risk management into processes.
    • Participates in special projects and maintains compliance with standards.
    • Applies performance improvement methodologies.
    • May assist in infection prevention and control activities.
    • Sustains continuous survey readiness program.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in healthcare quality, risk management, and related fields.
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, or related field.
    • Registered Nurse License (California) required.

    Additional Requirements:

    • CIC certificate required within three (3) years if focused on Infection Control.
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Three (3) years of quality operations experience in acute care settings.
    • Certifications in various areas.
    • Master's degree preferred.

    Location: California, San Francisco, San Francisco 2425 Geary Hospital

    Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Day shift (Mon-Fri, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
