    Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce
    University of California Los Angeles

    In partnership with and in support of administrative stakeholders, the Business Information Technology team designs, develops, configures, enhances, optimizes, and maintains products and platforms that enable UCLA's business functions (e.g., Budget & Financial Management, Student Information, Faculty Information, Business Information, Human Resource Information, Customer Relationship Management).

    The CRM Products team conceives, configures, monitors, defines, tests, delivers, monitors, optimizes, and refines CRM products and application technologies, including but not limited to mobile and web applications, collaboration tools, CRM products, budget/financial management products, HR applications, and other services.

    This department also works to optimize user experience, address digital accessibility needs, and establish the highest standards of quality assurance and release management for UCLA's administrative applications and technologies.

    The Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce will help define, test, and deliver product solutions to maximize business value.

    The Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce will conduct customer research and collaborate with key stakeholders across UCLA to gather business requirements and help translate them into functional and technical requirements.

    They will conduct analyses, create process models, document requirements, and work with their product team to ensure that the solutions developed meet the desired business outcomes.

    In addition, they will contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and data-driven recommendations to help shape the university's IT roadmap.

    The Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively leverage Workplace products and applications.

    This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students.

    Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.

    Three years Experience working in one or more of the following fields:
    computer science, computer information systems, BSA (Business Systems Analyst), or related field. (Experience designing and documenting business processes and configuring application functions. Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies.

    (Five or more years Experience working in one or more of the following fields:
    computer science, computer information systems. (Two or more years Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Admin (Preferred)

    ~ Experience working with Workplace or other similar cloud solutions. (Proven record of delivering end-to-end, user-centered products by considering stakeholder requirements, user research, market analysis, data, customer feedback, and technical constraints or opportunities. (Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate technical information and ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. (Strong organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and support concurrent projects. Ability to work in a project-based environment using project management practices. (Able to participate in activities to advance an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (Bachelor's Degree Business administration, organization development, communication, or public administration, or a related field, , or equivalent combination of experience/training.
