Description
The Business Systems Analyst, Workplace Products will help define, test, and deliver Workplace products to maximize business value.

The Business Analyst, Workplace Products will conduct customer research and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gather business requirements and help translate them into functional and technical requirements.

Through the use of various analytical tools and methodologies, they will identify trends and opportunities that can drive innovation and efficiency in UCLA's technological offerings.

In addition, they will contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and data-driven recommendations to help shape the university's IT roadmap.

This role will also support the product team's delivery and sustainment of an excellent end-to-end customer experience.-
Salary & Compensation

  • UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications

  • Three years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems, BSA (Business Systems Analyst), or related field. (required)
  • Experience conducting or facilitating requirement gathering interviews or sessions. Experience utilizing analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decisionmaking. (required)
  • Experience working in a projectbased environment using leading project management practices including schedule management, status reporting, and communication of project risks and issues. (required)
  • Experience participating in activities to advance an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (required)
  • Experience working in higher education or a similarly federated environment. (preferred)
  • Experience working with Workplace or other similar cloud solutions. (preferred)
  • Five or more years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems. (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify key issues critical to the organization's need and the success of a desired product, service and enhancement. (required)
  • Proven record of delivering endtoend, usercentered products by considering stakeholder requirements, user research, market analysis, data, customer feedback, and technical constraints or opportunities. (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate technical information and ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. (required)
  • Able to establish and advance positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and customers. (required)
  • Strong organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and support concurrent projects. (required)
  • Strong demonstrated problemsolving skills; scopes solutions based on knowledge of available resources and timelines. Able to ask questions, gather information, evaluate options, and make decisions with integrity. (required)
  • Thinks creatively and proposes innovative ideas, including the incorporation of new technologies or processes. Is able to work with agility in a fastpaced environment. (required)
