    Description

    Our client, a large financial firm is looking for a Sr. Developer, with expertise in RESTful API's, CI/CD and Microservices, who will be working with multiple management/technology teams and vendors to build/engineer the microservices in a Devops environment.


    Included responsibilities for this role are augmenting the microservice platform and ensuring that the services meet performance expectations. Researching, trouble shooting and addressing issues that inhibit the ability of the microservices platform to meet expectations are also responsibilities of this position.

    This is a hybrid position, the selected candidate will have to come into the midtown Manhattan office twice per week.

    The Sr. Developer will:

    • Augment the microservice layer to integrate with additional platforms and services
    • Build out the CI/CD pipeline in Azure
    • Testing of microservices in a Devops environment
    • Socialize Runbook with Production Support Team
    • Lead microservices platform production support dry run exercises
    • Identify service degradation or issues and address, troubleshoot and escalate as appropriate
    • Assist with testing of microservices in DevOps environment



    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience with
    • 3+ years of experience with RESTful and Event Driven API Gateways
    • 2+ years of experience in cloud deployments (preferably with Azure DevOps)
    • Strong CI/CD pipeline tool skills, microservices and service integrations (Azure preferred)
    • 2+ years experience with SIEM tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
    • 3+ years experience with cloud architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS)
    • 3+ Experience with other programming languages such as: Javascript, Java, Python
    • Experience with compliance and security regulations including SOC2 and NIST A preferred
    • Experience with containerization (eg. OpenShift, AKS, etc.) cloud technologies, in particular Azure, and testing tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
    • Domain knowledge in Financial Service industry or Information Security is desirable
    • BS Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
