Description

The Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) is the nation's only pan-Asian children and families' advocacy organization bringing together community-based organizations as well as youth, parents, and community allies to fight for equity for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs).

CACF is on the forefront in the fight for racial equity and to transform New York City and State to be more responsive and able to meet our AAPI community's needs.

We do this by building an AAPI community too powerful to ignore.

Every day, CACF is listening to our community's stories; training young people and parents; and uniting our diverse communities around improving health, education, and data collection systems, and bringing critical government resources to our community.

The Director of Development provides the leadership, strategy, and direction of fundraising to support CACF's programs and operations. The Director is responsible for institutional funding, individual giving, corporate giving, special events, donor communication and board fundraising.

A member of the senior management team, reporting to the Co-Executive Directors, the Director of Development is a high energy, seasoned development professional with a passion for CACF's mission and the AAPI community, and a proven track record in building strong relationships with current and prospective donors.

Working closely with the Co-Executive Directors, other senior staff and the Board, the Director of Development will be the catalyst for helping CACF achieve its financial goals.

They will be an integral part of the management team and a key player in the growth and expansion of CACF.
