    Wallick Communities is currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their Construction division team at the Corporate headquarters in New Albany, Ohio.

    How You will Contribute: In alignment with the Wallick Mission and Values, this role involves collaborating with Project Managers on various new build and remodeling projects across different locations.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Conduct scope reviews for feasibility and participate in design phase site inspections.
    • Prepare project budgets at different stages.
    • Plan and coordinate pre-bid meetings.
    • Develop construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
    • Manage material submittals.
    • Assist in estimate preparation and bid evaluation.
    • Coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel.
    • Award subcontracts and purchase orders.
    • Direct Construction Superintendents to ensure project completion.
    • Promote safe work practices and address site hazards.
    • Ensure project compliance with building codes and specifications.
    • Monitor budgets, revenue, and cash flow.
    • Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Oversee project closeout and warranty compliance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Success Criteria:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Construction Management.
    • Solid understanding of construction processes.
    • Previous experience in multi-family housing construction preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
    • Knowledge of MS Project and Procore software tools is a plus.
    • Strong communication and analytical skills.
    • Ability to make decisions under supervision.
