    Description
    Meet the company:

    We are working with a successful Real Estate Investment/Development firm who is looking to welcome a strong Accounting Manager to the team. The Accounting Manager will supervise the team as well as the month/end financial reporting process.

    This team is fully in the office in San Francisco, however open to hybrid work once established with the firm.

    About the role and your impact:
    • Manage day-to-day Property accounting operations with the accounting team (Cash, AP, GL, etc.) and provide training/guidance where needed
    • Month-End/Year End close through accurate Financial Reporting
    • Ensure adequate processes and controls are in place and followed, implement new controls where needed
    • Assist in budget and forecasting activities as needed
    • Oversee the annual audit process with external auditors
    What you'll bring:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, preferably with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
    • 4+ years of experience - Real Estate, Construction, and/or Engineering, CPA and Public Accounting strongly preferred
    • Hands on experience managing a team or willingness to learn
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and a desire to learn and improve
    • Systems experience with Appfolio desired
