In mid-October 2015, I launched a niche Instagram account to post cinematic photography. I picked up marketing skills from similar pages, using niche hashtags and joining an engagement group to grow my following. This success led me to create additional niche accounts to post contents that I enjoy engaging in, such as aesthetic Pinterest pictures, meme content, and beauty posts. I accumulated over 100k followers, which attracted brand partnerships and marketing opportunities. I delved into affiliate marketing, crafted promotional posts for small businesses, and managed social media growth for brands. I also monetized my accounts which allowed me to gain commissions.

Last semester, I was a marketing manager for VSA cultural show in which I worked with my partner to boost engagement through interactive stories, designing member spotlight posts, and creating persuasive meme content to promote ticket sales. During a summer marketing position with Pinkaholics Anonymous, a pink-themed clothing brand, I gained insights into marketing strategy, including creating an organized marketing calendar and producing user-generated content for authenticity.

I'm a junior studying cognitive science and data science with an emphasis on philosophical foundations of minds, morals, and machines at UC Berkeley.
