    Accounts Payable and Receivable SpecialistPosition Location

    Miami, FL 33186Pay/hours for position

    $22.00 per hourRequirements of position

    Skills and Experience
    1. 2+ years of experience in the Accounts Payable field
    • 2+ years of experience in the Accounts Receivable field
    • High volume of data entry
    • QuickBooks Desktop
    1. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
    2. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Excel required)
    3. • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks/projects, juggle deadlines, and diligence in finishing tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Responsibilities of position

    Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOffice located in West Kendall$22 per hourAccounts Payable Specialist
    • Code and enter invoices into accounting system
    • Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures and check run schedules
    • Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors, if needed
    • Analyze vendor invoices, reconcile, and update project budgets, utility spreadsheets, if needed
    • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
    • If applicable, compare purchase orders, prices, invoices, terms of payment, and other charges
    • Assist with month-end/quarterly/year-end close processes
    • Ensure compliance with all internal processes
    • Contribute to departmental goals and departmental procedures
    Accounts Receivable Specialist
    1. Create and record customer invoices into accounting system
    2. Create and record billing into customer platforms
    3. Communicate via email/phone with customers regarding past due balances
    4. Updating excel spreadsheet with respect to damages and other receivable reporting
