    The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall talent acquisition strategy in alignment with the companys overall goals and strategic initiatives.

    The Director of TA actively collaborates with internal leaders to drive the strategic workforce planning process and understands the skill and capability needs of the organization.

    The Director of TA is an expert in talent acquisition best practices and performance metrics and holds the team accountable for meeting and continuously improving hiring performance standards and timelines.

    The Director of TA is also responsible for directly sourcing, recruiting, hiring and onboarding candidates for key positions.


    The Director of TA actively mentors, trains and manages his/her direct reports, and is also considered a role model and positive influence throughout the entire organization.

    The Director of TA has a demonstrated passion for building the organization through hiring compelling, high-quality candidates aligned with the companys core values.

    As an external-facing ambassador within the larger community, this leader also elevates the companys brand and acts with professional demeanor, maturity and composure at all times.

    This position reports directly to the companys Chief Operating Officer.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leads the development and implementation of the overall talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning process in alignment with the companys goals and strategic initiatives.
    • Implements and continuously evolves talent acquisition best practices to improve processes, speed, accuracy, and drive overall performance of the team.
    • Leads the TA teams overall efforts to collaborate with internal leaders to understand essential requirements and create effective job postings; drafts job descriptions for key positions when needed.
    • Holds the TA team and internal leaders accountable for meeting candidate quality standards and moving candidates rapidly through the recruitment process. Ensures recruitment and hiring activities are accurately tracked and evaluated.
    • Responsible for the mentoring and training of TA team members to ensure they proactively and strategically source (hunt) for high quality candidates through various marketing channels and professional networks.
    • Has individual responsibility for directly sourcing, recruiting, hiring and onboarding candidates for key positions.
    • If applicable, organizes and attends job fairs and recruitment events on behalf of the company.
    • Has knowledge of and complies with all applicable national, state and local regulations governing the hiring of employees.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5-10+ years prior talent acquisition and leadership experience required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to negotiate, trouble-shoot and problem solve collaboratively with candidates, internal leadership and team members.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Comfortable working within a fast-paced work environment.
    • High comfort level operating within HRIS or applicant tracking system platforms.
    • Bachelors Degree preferred.
