    Important: This is a full-time, on-site role at VG SALES HQ located in Boston's TD Garden complex for the entire duration of the program.

    Training Highlights

    Embark on an intensive 8-week training program where you'll gain the necessary tools, skills, and techniques for long-term career success. Benefit from mentorship and guidance from industry experts, including the VP of VG SALES, Venture Guides team, and Sales Executives from portfolio companies. Throughout the training, you'll focus on:

    • Developing a Leader's Mindset: Acquire foundational technology sales skills crucial for driving sales revenue and understand the key elements of successful sales organizations.
    • 200+ Hours of Prospecting: Engage in real-world prospecting activities (such as cold calls, emails, LI) to hone your prospecting skills and achieve high performance.
    • Full-Time Intensive Sales and Business Training: Receive dedicated training, mentorship, and coaching from industry leaders to sharpen your expertise.
    • Gain Industry Expertise: Become proficient in the rapidly growing technology landscape by learning from leaders within the Venture Guides portfolio.
    • Performance and Growth: Monitor your individual performance metrics related to activities, meetings, training scores, and personal skills for tailored coaching and preparedness for transitioning to a portfolio company.

    SDR Role Overview

    As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be the initial point of contact in the sales process, responsible for researching potential customers. With over 200 hours of real-world prospecting experience, you'll be well-equipped for success in this role. Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

    • Researching and compiling targeted lists of prospects interested in the company's tech offerings.
    • Contacting curated lists to identify sales opportunities.
    • Guiding qualified prospects through the sales process by scheduling discussions with the company's Account Executive.
    • Continuous improvement of sales development skills and exploration of diverse career paths within high-tech sales for a prosperous future.
