- Design and develop engineering solutions to meet project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, project managers, and other engineers, to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and modeling to support the design and development process.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to select and evaluate materials, components, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the engineering process.
- Conduct testing and validation of engineering solutions to ensure functionality, safety, and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve engineering practices.
- Focus on expanding and improving our Library of Standard Parts.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering within the manufacturing industry, experience in conveyors preferred.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in engineering principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Proficient in using engineering software, tools, and CAD programs. Including AutoCAD and Inventor.
- 2+ years' of experience working with Smart sheets or iLogic and a minimum of 1+ years' experience working with Vault are required.
- Proven track record of successfully completing engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work performed.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or relevant certifications are preferred.
