- Design and applications of mechanical seals and bearings
- Create solid models, drawings and ECN'S
- Strong customer communications with some of the biggest companies in the aerospace industry
- Input Bill-of Materials into MRP system
- Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departments
- Participate in RBS events (the company's operating management system based on the Toyota Production System and the Strategy Deployment Process - advanced Hoshin Planning methodology)
- Due to defense requirements the candidate must be a US Person (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)
- Requires Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or CATIA is required
- Ability to create and interpret drawings and specifications
- Capable of working within a team structure
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of metals and composites; materials background a plus
- Previous experience designing mechanical components is preferred
- Experience with DOE is preferred
- Exposure to machining, heat treat, or grinding is a plus
- SAE and/or ASTM is a plus
