Our Application Developers collaborate with internal engineering teams and external clients to design and implement creative solutions within our existing software suite which streamline complex workflows that enhance our client's ability to execute their jobs efficiently and manage their portfolios responsibly.

The main focus of the Application Developer role is to analyze our client's needs, design customized solutions and then manage their implementation.

Application Developers own projects from start to finish, and work with clients until their requested customization is complete. They are hands-on contributors, thriving in a dynamic environment with a passion for creating client-focused solutions. Application Developers collaborate with clients, analysts, software developers and internal Client Relationship Managers to create excellence for each project.


Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and become proficient with Investortools' industryleading software with areas of focus on content, controls, information architecture and technical support.
• Study and be willing to learn the world of fixedincome investments.
• Collaborate with internal development teams, software engineers and our clients throughout the implementation of new features.
• Analyze complex problems and build effective solutions.
• Write clear project proposals that accurately document client needs.
• Develop and deliver customized projects.
• Integrate our software into clients' other systems and business processes.
• Continual focus on product improvements, based on what was learned from client customization.

What You Bring:


Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or similar fields.
• Desire to learn and support a robust software suite.
• Willingness to learn the complex municipal and corporate bond markets.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage projects & meet deadlines while maintaining high quality results.
• Able to work collaboratively across disciplines with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

• Track record of collaborating with software developers and clients to create innovative customer centric products.
• Some software programming and database experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• Coursework or experience in the financial industry.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• A natural curiosity and desire to challenge yourself and those around you.
