    Role Purpose: Promotion and business creation of Tri-K's specialty personal care portfolio in China, particularly the greater Shanghai area. The candidate will be responsible for the management of one or more distribution partners in the area, accounts both directly and/or through the management of these distribution partners, and for the direct management of the regional sites of our global customers.

    Customer interactions are to be focused on relevant technical personnel such as formulators, microbiologists or any senior R & D personnel who are decision makers. Less interaction will be required from customer purchasing teams, and most pricing discussions are to be had with the distribution partner.

    Requirements:

    Role Objectives:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Develops and implements strategies to maintain and/or expand sales in conjunction with corporate goals and objectives.
    • Prepares and implements short and long terms sales plans for each account
    • Forecasts the demand for product(s) and prepares budgets
    • Prepares project reports and sales activity reports as requested
    • Utilizes and inputs sales calls and related information into Salesforce in a timely manner
    • Follows up on sample requests
    • Meets regularly with the customer to understand their objectives and requirements.
    • Develops account relationship, recommends new product and technology, and obtains feedback on products.
    • Ensures that sales, R & D, Marketing and Customer Service provide post implementation support to customers.
    • Manages and expedites the resolution of customer problems/complaints.
    • Prepares and conducts technical/product presentations and demonstrations.
    • Participates in trade shows, weekly sales conference calls, and quarterly sales meetings.
    • Plans travel and itineraries to maximize client contact and efficiency.
    • Prepares expense reports, itinerary and call reports according to schedule.
    • Keeps abreast of market trends, new technology, pricing, and customer projects.

    Requirements:

    Travel This position requires minimum 50% domestic travel. Overnight stays of one or more days required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field from four-year College or University.
    • Minimum of 5 Years of B2B Chemical Sales experience with a focus in Personal Care. Experience managing distribution partners preferred.
    • Established connections within the personal care industry are highly desired.
    • Ability to interact with highly knowledgeable technical contacts within customer accounts is necessary.
    • Candidates must be based out of the Greater Shanghai Metropolitan Area
