- Demonstrates complete ownership of the business including total responsibility for the four walls and P&L ownership
- Models authentic, warm guest experience and is responsible for instilling great service in team
- Ensures the caf is optimally staffed with individuals that embody Tattes cultural values by continuous, active recruiting, hiring, and training of new talent to ensure outstanding guest service
- Demonstrates keen people performance management skills with the ability to identify talent and develop managers and hourly team members by giving timely, honest and ongoing coaching and feedback through one on ones and performance appraisals.
- Displays skill in leading and navigating hard conversations and has experience maturely terminating team members who demonstrate inability to adhere to company policy or job duties
- Continuously upholds Tatte brand and visual standards across all parts of the business, inclusive of maintaining product and display standards, environmental cleanliness and organization, and atmosphere specs
- Leads team members through effective and efficient operational execution, including shift tasks and routines as well as proper facilities upkeep
- Ensures Food Safety at the caf level, adhering to all food safe processes and standards and driving immediate resolution to any deviation from standard
- Leads all caf-level change management activities to ensure effective and accurate communication of new product, service and operational information that is able to be acted upon by the team
- Ensures food, labor and controllable costs stay consistently within guardrails set by the company.
- Oversees all caf administrative requirements including sales forecasting, scheduling, deployment, inventory, cash handling, purchasing/ordering, setting production/pars, and safety, sanitation and environmental audits to ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational and financial results
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as required
- Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and read
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment

- High School education or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a General Manager in a high-volume, full service and/or polished fast casual restaurant.
- Hospitality Education: B.S. in Hospitality Management and/or A.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Previous experience working with UltiPro, Toast - POS System, CrunchTime/TeamworX
- ServSafe, Allergen and ChokeSaver Certifications
