    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Effectively troubleshoot production line and other equipment malfunctions.
    • Productively maintain equipment and performance of the required day-to-day tasks, while focusing on safe use and operation of maintenance tools and equipment.
    • Perform welder, production line and equipment changeovers.
    • Assist A Mechanics and Electricians with press inspection activities.
    • Perform basic to intermediate PM activities on welders, screwdrivers, and packaging lines.
    • Assist in loading coils on to automated lines.
    • Daily press and equipment preventive maintenance and lubrication.
    • Perform basic to intermediate electrical tasks and electrical safety.
    • Perform hot work permit tasks (including welding, cutting, and brazing)
    • Retention of skills as assigned, requirements and on job training.
    • Adhere to all safety practices including fire safety, fall protection, fall restraint, lifting systems safety, crane operations, and powered industrial lift truck operations.
    • Machine safeguarding and lock-out/tag-out authorized.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution plus 1-2 years of experience.
    • Maintenance experience or experience troubleshooting equipment.
    • Proven ability to use various types of hand tools, multimeters, and measurement devices such as dial indicators, calipers and micrometers.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate degree or Technical School Diploma for Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechanical fields with 6 to 12 months experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude, with basic understanding of electrical systems.
    • Team player, with willingness and ability to learn and progress in the trade.
