    Description
    Bio-Rad's Life Science Group is looking for an Account Manager. In this role, you will demonstrate and sell Bio-Rad's diverse line of consumables, apparatus, and small equipment.

    You will support and service life science research laboratories at academic accounts primarily located in the Boston area.

    Team and individual selling scenarios. Product lines are focused primarily on Western Blotting and qPCR workflows. This position would require minimal overnight travel.
    Responsibilities

    Develop & Execute a Territory Sales Plan.
    Promote & Sell the Western Blotting & qPCR workflow Portfolios to achieve territory sales goals.
    Build, Manage and Grow sales opportunity funnel.
    Manage & Meet Customer Deadlines.
    Partner with regional sales teammates to ensure achievement of territory sales goals.
    Proactively update CRM on a daily basis.
    Proactively communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities & forecast.
    Demonstrate excellent oral & written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customers.
    Qualifications

    BA/BS/MS/PhD.
    3-5 Years of sales experience with in life science sector.
    Alternatively lab experience with knowledge of qPCR and Western Blotting is suitable.
    Previous experience working closely with team members and management.
    Excellent communication & presentation skills (Verbal & Written).
    Highly motivated with a demonstrated record of success.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Developed analytical skills.
    Knowledge of and Microsoft office.
