    Job Summary:

    We seek a highly energetic and team-oriented Sales Representative for the Chesapeake Beverage Sales Team, with a passion for sales and the ability to build strong relationships. Our sales team is responsible for market presence, brand awareness, product representation, and sales, driving growth in your assigned territory.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build overall sales & consumption, brand presence & awareness in assigned territory.
    • Maintain strong positive relations with key accounts and distributor partners regarding products and events.
    • Communicate daily with the sales Manager and production staff regarding orders, trends, seasonal considerations, and any sales-related issues, including weekly market visit recaps.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Monitor competitor activity within key accounts and provide feedback to the sales team.
    • Track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Prepare and present account reviews to senior management regularly.
    • Represent Chesapeake Beverage at various community events, festivals, markets, etc.
    • Maintain regular communication with key distributor personnel and fulfill needs as required (POS, tap handles, sell sheets)

    Requirements:

    • We have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Self-Motivated
    • Knowledge of the assigned market and industries.
    • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record.
    • A willingness to be flexible in your schedule, including extended workdays and weekends.
    • Excellent time management

    Education & Experience

    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • High school-level math skills
    • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
    • Alcoholic beverage industry experience of at least two years and a positive track record in sales
    • Positive experience with clients regarding product information and questions.
    • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative.

    Equipment, Machines, and Software Used: This position requires the regular use of a computer, iPad, printer, copier, cell phone, scanner, calculator, jockey box, and kegs. Computer Software: Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. Arryved, CRM, Ekos.
