    Skylight is a technology startup based out of Los Angeles, CA. Our mission is to connect loved ones by creating the world's simplest products and services that improve family life.

    Our founders are former venture capitalists and serial entrepreneurs, who have scaled the business to $100M+ in annual revenue while being completely bootstrapped and profitable since day 1.

    Skylight is looking for a category-creating CMO who will effectively grow Skylight into a multi-generational, emotionally resonant brand.

    Reporting to the President, this is an opportunity to lead the global marketing and sales org, including growth/performance marketing, ecommerce (D2C and Amazon), brand, creative, retail sales, and international growth.

    Skylight is pioneering a new Smart Family Calendar category while also looking to grow in an existing Digital Picture Frame category - we are looking for a CMO with deep experience in both creating new categories and helping to grow within existing/competitive ones.

    The company also has a flexible hybrid work culture, working from home 2-3 days / week.

    Successful full-stack CMO of a consumer D2C category-creating company who has led and scaled marketing orgs from tens of millions in revenue and beyond.

    Strong brand strategy & marketing foundation: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy. Responsible for 60% of focus on brand building and marketing philosophy and 40% performance marketing / growth.
    Experience successfully scaling and running a native digital business, ideally with experience in subscription, new-to-market, and high-consideration products
    Capable of architecting the marketing organization, identifying critical roles, and building a high performing team

    Financial Acumen:
    Deep understanding of profit and loss (P&L) and general management. Must not only be a creative marketer but also a strategic thinker with brand-centric approaches.
