After earning my degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Los Angeles I continued to hone my craft by completing a program in Promotions and Marketing for Entertainment at Santa Monica College. This led to a Multimedia Design position at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising which demanded great attention to detail as I created compelling visual presentations, on-brand marketing materials, and eye-catching social media campaigns. As the sole designer for the department I managed projects from start to finish, while delivering content for both digital and print media.

Wanting to get closer to the world of entertainment I then took a position as a Multiplatform Graphic Designer for Warner Bros. Discovery, where I happened to join in the middle of a major marketing campaign for Shark Week. My skills in informational design came in handy as I created graphic schedules and other promotional assets to communicate the details of the special week to audiences worldwide. Time management and file organization were vital in delivering the array of content amidst ever-changing parameters and schedule line-ups. Our social media posts were creative and engaging, and this year’s Shark Week was the #1 “most social” entertainment program across television that week.

Santa Monica College, Certificate: Gained a comprehensive understanding of entertainment marketing, with essential skills needed to design on and off-air promotions, plus digital media strategy and storytelling.

The Art Institute, BA: Focused on media arts and production with an emphasis on writing, illustrating, storyboarding, and marketing for animation.
