    Overview:


    The On-Call Desktop Support Technician (Tier I) position is an entry-level role designed for individuals seeking to begin their career in technical support.

    This role operates under general supervision and is responsible for providing technical assistance with hardware, network systems, software applications, and operating systems.



    Qualifications:

    Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

    Preferred

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in technical support or customer service role.
    Certification in IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
    Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
