    Job Description

    We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team. This role involves handling event inquiries, organizing and overseeing special events. As the face of our company, you will interact with guests in person, over email, and on the phone. Your primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional guest experiences through meticulous planning and execution, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, and creating lasting memories for our guests.

    The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of hospitality, pays attention to detail, and is committed to delivering excellence from event planning to completion. A key aspect of this role is driving business growth and setting a positive example for the team.

    Responsibilities
    • Contacting, booking, and following up with event inquiries
    • Managing event scheduling using appropriate systems
    • Overseeing and participating in event execution
    • Coordinating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintaining updates
    • Communicating event details effectively with management teams
    • Ensuring proper staff scheduling for events
    • Reviewing and confirming menu and beverage selections
    • Organizing event equipment and decor
    • Attending planning meetings and handling contracts
    • Developing client relationships and maximizing opportunities
    • Performing additional duties as assigned

    Education & Skills:
    • 2 years of Restaurant Event Coordinator experience
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
    • Proficiency in reservation systems like Resy
    • Thorough knowledge of hospitality standards
    • Advanced organizational and multitasking skills
    • Preferred bilingual proficiency and Hospitality Degree
    • Serv Safe Certification and food handling expertise
    • Proficient in Excel
    Compensation: Commission-based with hourly opportunities
