POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
This is a specialist level position, which provides support for library computers and software. Work is performed independently, as a team, and under the supervision of the Library Services Coordinator (Automation Services). This position may require some evening and weekend hours and to be on-call for evening and weekend emergencies. Incumbent must be available to work evening or weekend hours as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS/PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses and Certifications
Required:
18 years of age or older
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
Experience with computer troubleshooting and installation
Two years of library experience, preferably in the Automation Services or IT department
Valid driver's license with safe driving record
Preferred:
More than two (2) years of experience in an IT department
One year or more of HTML coding experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, may be considered.
