    SUMMARY:
    As a Sous Chef at THE LOT, you will lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver top-notch dining experiences. Your collaboration and dedication will be key to our success. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will be a crucial part of our vibrant culinary culture.

    Striving for excellence in customer service, you will uphold THE LOT's high standards at all times.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintain a supportive team spirit.
    • Ensure clear and efficient communication.
    • Assist in overseeing the culinary team.
    • Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef.
    • Support Event Sales Manager during events.
    • Monitor and approve ingredient orders.
    • Select only the freshest ingredients and follow recipes accurately.
    • Handle food storage and rotation according to health regulations.
    • Help schedule kitchen staff effectively.
    • Prioritize customer satisfaction and safety.
    • Promote a culture of safety awareness.
    • Uphold THE LOT's values and standards.
    • Strategize and set goals for the culinary department.
    • Manage time efficiently and complete tasks promptly.
    • Build strong relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
    • Perform other duties assigned by management.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef.
    • Prior supervisory experience.
    • Previous work in hospitality is an advantage.
    • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Spanish is a bonus.
